Essential Practices of Inner Work for a Time of Transition: Introduction to Gurdjieff & The Fourth Way

Weekly meetings will be ongoing every Tuesday evening at 7pm though December 15. The meetings will begin on September 8th and be conducted over the online platform GoToMeeting.

“The more difficult the conditions of life the more productive the inner work, always provided you remember the inner work.” -GI Gurdjieff

  • How do I work for presence when so much is unstable and changing in the world?
  • How do I connect with a group of likeminded practitioners to support one another’s work?
  • Can work on myself be a form of service to my family, community, and humanity as a whole?

There are abundant resources for exploring the theory of the Fourth Way of GI Gurdjieff and JG Bennett, with very few opportunities to work with the teaching in a practical way. This series of meetings will focus on inner work and exercises, with an emphasis on methods and techniques. We will make use of the context of a group to share in the energy and insights gleaned from the practice.
